Diamond Weave Rattan Clutch
This unique clutch features a diamond weave pattern with batik print lining, and is the perfect conversation piece for stylish & socially conscious women.
Carefully handcrafted by the indigenous Dayak people of Borneo, this clutch was made using split rattan from Central Kalimantan, one of the only areas in the world where rattan is harvested in a sustainable way to preserve the forest.
A renewed interest in Dyak weaving is providing a sustainable livelihood for these artisans while reviving centuries old weaving traditions, which were starting to disappear.
